Changangkha Middle Secondary School
The U.S. Special Education Advisory Committee has assisted the Special Education Needs schools, as identified by the Ministry of Education, to address the needs of all learners through teacher training, capacity building, creation of resource rooms, and on-going distance support.
The main focus of the SEN school project is to assist students with mild to moderate disabilities, as they comprise Â the largest percentage of students with learning difficulties. However, the Advisory Committee has also been able to assist in the development of services for students with more sever disabilities.
Since 2009 the Special Education Program has brought teams of specialists to provide needed trainings and technical assistance having an impact on all SEN schools, Stakeholders, Government officials, and the community.
